Flintlock gun for the King's bodyguard, second model, barrel with lateral sides then round, blued of origin, stamped with thunder: "B" in an oval (Bouyssavy); lock type XIII, stamped: crowned "C" (Compass, 1st controller 1818/1819), signed: "Manuf. Roy. De Maubeuge"; brass fittings, embossed mouthpiece: "291", oval cap decorated with three fleurs-de-lis in high relief; walnut stock stamped: "C" crowned, stamped: "291"; iron rod, stamped: "L" in an oval. (Lacrosse crack, restored).
Second Restoration Era. Very good condition.
