Lacking first two quires: title page, tabula alphabethica, Summarium (AA8 & BB4). Lacking f. A1, E1 and E8 (final blank) at the end (in Interpretationes Nominum hebraicorum). Ref. Hain 3118, Polain 666, BMC III, 791, GW 4275, Goff B598, Machiels B-401. Commonly known as the 'Poor Man's Bible', as its size made it more accessible to lay readers and travelling clerics. Based on the 1491 issue (which was Johann Froben first registered book), but without the additional table, that was new in the 1495 edition. Froben became the chief Basel printer.
