Provenance: Nabon inheritance, sale for the benefit of the Diocesan Association of Blois. Etienne Bouchardy (1797-1849), miniaturist student of Sicardi, takes over in 1808 (- 1840) the workshop of Gilles-Louis Chrétien (Versailles 1754-1811), inventor of the physionotrace in 1786.
