Our pedestal table is a revival of the model made at the end of the 18th century by the famous cabinetmaker Adam Weisweiler, based on the design of the merchant merchant Daguerre, now kept in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris. Several similar pedestal tables signed Dasson were sold at auction in particular: - Christie's Paris, September 15, 2016, lot 22. - Chevaux-Légers-Enchères, Versailles, Maitre Chausselat, February 23, 2014, lot 161.
