German designer Horst Brüning has created furniture that implements the simple idea of minimalism, functionality, durability, timelessness while capturing the spirit of the times.
Born in 1934, German furniture designer Horst Brüning studied architecture and interior design at the College of Graphic Arts in Hamburg until 1956. He has also lived in Copenhagen and Stockholm, where he studied industrial design. In 1963, he founded an architecture and design office in Stuttgart. During this period, Brüning came into contact with Kill International and the architectural duo Fabricius & Kastholm, which led to a successful exchange of ideas that eventually led to international recognition and success. The creations of Brüning and Fabricius & Kastholm were originally manufactured by the same company and have now been taken over by Lange Production to continue this original idea.
