Artist info: actually Heinz-Helmut Tetzner, english Painter and graphic artist (1920 Gersdorf to 2007 Gersdorf), 1934-38 apprenticeship as pattern draftsman at the Königsberg Textile College, 1941 guest student at the Königsberg Academy with Alfred Partikel, 1946-51 studied at the Weimar College with Kirchberger, from 1950 master student of Otto Herbig, from 1955 member of the Association of Visual Artists (VBK) of the GDR, from 1953 lecturer at the Weimar University of Applied Sciences and from 1960 lecturer at the Schneeberg University of Applied Arts, personal acquaintance and suggestion of Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Max Pechstein and Erich Heckel, received numerous honours, including the Max Pechstein Prize and in 1999 the Federal Cross of Merit, active in Provence and Gersdorf in Saxony, Quelle: Vollmer, Eisold "Artists in the GDR" and Wikipedia.
