Very beautiful book, illustrated with an architectural title-frontispiece and 60 plates by Bernard Picart, slightly modified copies of Diepenbecke's engravings for the 1655 edition of the Temple of the Muses with the text by Michel de Marolles.

Uniform freckles, discharge of several subjects engraved on the facing pages. Top hinge and split jaws, worn corners, missing caps.
