- Not dated. Letter handwritten in black ink by Pablo Neruda addressed to “María” in which he explains that “en la Avda. Lynch [...] sufrí las vejaciones de la policía, etc”. He asks if the name of the street could be changed and suggests to the recipient that she accompanies him on a visit to the mayor of Santiago to talk about this issue. In the bottom right corner, in red ink: “12/09/67, Conferencia Nacional del P.C.”. On the back, in black ink: “M. Marchant”.
