In his practice, Arnaud Vasseux gives a decisive place to the approach and the manipulation of materials in the elaboration of meaning. Preferring materials that cross several states, he questions their nature and creates forms that combine fragility, instability and resistance.
His work brings into play the notions of space, time and place by exploring the possibilities offered by moulding and imprinting techniques. Her sculptures, most often ephemeral and built on location, are born from a confrontation with physical space, from the exploration of places and their history, making the exhibition a place of experiences, hypotheses and narratives.
His work can be found in many public and private collections: Frac PACA, Musée Réattu in Arles, Musée d'arts de Nantes, CIRVA in Marseille...
