SEVRES. Albert DAMMOUSE (1848-1926). Porcelain baluster vase to be mounted as a lamp. Polychrome decoration of paste on paste of medallions representing Cupid, doves in an entourage of flowered scrolls, gilt bronze mounting. Brush mark in green under A.D.Sèvres enamel from 1871, porcelain made in his own workshop located in Sèvres. Total height 30 cm. Vase 26 cm. Gold medal at the Exposition of the Central Union of Decorative Arts in 1874. Gold medal at the Universal Exhibition, Paris, 1889. Exhibits his porcelain at the Salon of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1891, of which he becomes a member. Creator of models for the main manufacturers in Limoges.
