I intended to send you the reduction of the group I had at the last Paris Salon [Le Génie dans les griffes de la Misère] and I was melting down the original model in bronze; but it will not be finished in time and moreover, I saw in the regulations that one cannot exhibit objects that are in the trade, but this reduction is already sold and I am only the owner of this original model...".
