THIERS (Adolphe). History of the consulate and the empire following the history of the French revolution. Paris, Paulin, 1845-1862.
20 volumes in-8 of text and 1 volume in-folio of atlases uniformly bound in half green grief, richly ornamented ribbed spine, double gilt fillet framing the plates.
New edition illustrated with 79 off-text engravings including 1 portrait of the author in frontispiece and 66 maps and plans, some folders.
Very nice copy with the text and the atlas in uniform bindings, which is not common. Very fresh and freckless interior, small clear and marginal wetness on some maps at the end of the atlas.
