BEAUTIFUL SET OF GOLDED SILVER CUTLERY COVERS, PARIS 1787 and Empire period. The model with nets is engraved on the spatula of the arms of the Family of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. This set consists of twelve pieces of cutlery and twelve small spoons with a XVIIIth century hallmark, completed in the XIXth century by 36 knives (18 vermeil blades, 18 steel blades) and two compote spoons of the same model. The master goldsmith of the XVIIIth century pieces is most probably Antoine-Louis ANTHIAUME (the set was re-glazed in the XIXth century). PB. 2988 g.
