Comment: Patek Philippe began experimenting with new ways of powering their timepieces in the 1940s, experimenting with photoelectric, electronic and nuclear timing. The Dome Clock, named after its shape, was introduced by Patek Philippe in the 1950s and continues to be in production today in various variations.
