Beautiful Nimcha
Morocco, late 19th century
A handle in ivory, decorated with a chiselled ferrule with traces of polychrome enamels. The characteristic single-branch hilt is made of metal inlaid with gold and floral decoration. Beautiful steel blade, inscribed on the heel, with a long gutter, with floral decoration inlaid with gold on both sides and on the back. Scabbard covered in shagreen with a long cap and a finely chiselled silver plated metal bouterolle with floral decoration.
