2nd edition of this translation (English 1799 and French 1804), illustrated with a large folding card at the end.
Ex-libris from the library of M. de Rancourt. Qqs small tears with lacks at the first f. of guard. Very good copy.
The English geographer Hugh Murray will spend many years increasing and completing this work. The French translation of the definitive work will appear in 4 volumes in-8 and an atlas in-4 in 1821 by Arthus Bertrand in Paris.
