2 volumes in 1 vol. petit in-4, 59 pp. and 125 pp., green basane, smooth spine decorated, red morocco title p., frieze and leafy garland framing the plates, gilt letters in the center of the plates, "A" on the first, "T" on the second plate, gilt filet on the cups, speckled yellow tr. (rel. of the period). Insolated back, slightly rubbed cuts and corners, some skinning on the dishes. Freckles on the last pages.
Richer's famous Voyage Pittoresque includes here the first two letters as follows: a Description of the River Erdre, from Nantes to Niort and the Voyage à la Forêt du Gavre, by the communes of Orvault, Vigneux and Blain. The work was to form 4 volumes with an atlas; only seven letters would be published in 1823 and preceded by Du Genre descriptif, serving as a preface, and a Précis de l'Histoire de Bretagne, the different parts being published successively.
