Design 1790 by order of the Danish King Christian VII, executed by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in 1965, blue wavy and green stamp mark and brush number and letters, of vaulted form with rich ornamental and gold relief decoration on the jagged rim, botanical depiction of the dove sabiose in fine polychrome onglaze painting and Latin inscription "Scabiosa Columbaria L."one jagged edge expertly restored and motif minimally scratched, otherwise well preserved, d 25 cm.
