Royal Copenhagen dinner plate "Flora Danica"
Design 1790 by order of the Danish King Christian VII, designed by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in 1963, blue wavy and green stamp, brush number and letters, of domed form with rich ornamental and gold relief decoration at the jagged rim, botanical depiction of the white nightingale in fine polychrome onglaze painting and Latin inscription "Melandrium vespertinum Fr.", the motif minimally scratched, otherwise well preserved, d 25 cm.
