Royal Copenhagen dinner plate "Flora Danica"
Design 1790 by order of the Danish King Christian VII, executed by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory 1965, blue wavy and green stamp, brush number and letters, of domed form with rich ornamental and gold relief decor at the jagged rim, botanical depiction of the bog violet in fine polychrome onglaze painting and Latin inscription "Viola uliginosa Schrad.", minimal scratches and in need of cleaning at the back, otherwise in good condition, d 25 cm.
