equestrian statue of Bartolomeo Colleoni
19th century, stamped "Martin u. Piltzing Hofbildgiesser Berlin", bronze with green patina, replica of the famous equestrian statue in front of San Giovanni e Paolo in Venice, this one was intended to honour the condottiere Bartolomeo Colleoni and shaped the equestrian statues until the 19th century, Colleoni is depicted in splendid armour on his decorated stallion, on a rectangular bronze plinth, on a multi-part marble base, base with cracks, one spur bent, otherwise in good age-related condition, h bronze ca. 31 cm, h total ca. 48 cm.
