Inlaid pewter cabinet with an animal theme representing horses, cattle, birds, deer, rhinoceros, elephants...on a rosewood background.
The architectural shape of the cover presents a large rinceau shower with a lid; the facade has six drawers, four of which are simulated, framing a wicket door.
Attributed to Hendrick Van Soest (1659-after 1724).
Flemish work from the late 17th or early 18th centuries (restoration of use).
It rests on a base with inlaid friezes and twisted columns joined by a spacer, also in rosewood.
