Very large and rare Scramasax
Strong and long blade with back, longitudinally fluted with forged tang. Accompanied by several bronze elements, with a green patina, which were to form the scabbard.
A small knife blade, possibly being a cofferdam of the weapon, is attached to it, with two elements of its sheath in bronze with green patina.
France. Merovingian period, 6th-7th century.
