Dummy collection. Early 19th c. 16 lithographs or etchings on blank, 6 of them enhanced, various sizes and papers; unsigned; mounted by the corners on support ff. (qqs burnished, min. defects). Album in-4° square, 36.5 x 37 cm, 19th c. red percaline. (min. rubbing). Interesting and rare set of political caricatures, including some Belgian ones ("Le chemin des honneurs" with ms. evoking Burbure and Dendermonde, - "Quid dicis ne docteur?." with inscription "Burbure" on a bottle and "Enterrement de Martin" with allusion to the article "Mouture", these 3 pcs. quoted as Brussels in "Le Constitutionel, journal du commerce", Paris, 1/5/1821),- others probably French, enhanced, evoking Napoleon ("Le carnaval de 1814 ou Le macaroni impérial", "La girouette politique et littéraire", "Salut au dindon", "La crise salutaire" depicting Napoleon sitting on a chamber pot and regurgitating his conquests), - 3 captions in German evoking General Vandamme in Siberia (missing in the upper corner). 3 captions in German evoking General Vandamme in Siberia (missing in the upper right corner) and the 2 other Napoleons ("Finale" shows Napoleon bidding farewell to Corsica and Elba Island).
