Legislative elections of 1925. Brussels Gouweloos [1925] Unsigned chromolith, 94.5 x 62 cm (f. marginal tears, one of which is 5 cm x 5 cm, 3 f. holes without gravity, very lightly wet in the centre, folds). Beautiful poster of the Liberal Party illustrated with a woman symbolizing the "politics of the golden mean through tolerance, progress, democracy, national unity", holding a balance with 2 lumps of butter representing on one side the "clerics" ("confessional politics, sectarianism, oppression of consciences"), on the other the "socialists" ("demagogy, statism, capital tax"). "We need a strong liberal party to prevent the country from being left to the excessive and disorderly politics of extreme parties".
