Collection of architectural ornamental drawings from the J. Jph. factory. Heiligenthal in Strasbourg, successor of Beunat. Containing everything related to the decoration of the apartments [...]. S.l. s.n. post 1824] Gr. in-4°: 98 plates (2 traces of glue on the title, small blue ink stains on plate 16, some browning on the margin, some leg. stained leg. of use). Half parchment of ep. (detached part), paper plates (rubbed, blunt corners), smooth spine titled by hand (jaws cracked), untrimmed. Good general condition, in working bindings. Rare album containing a choice of 98 plates (title, num. 2-98) on good laid paper, line engraved on metal by various artists (cert. dated 1813). Catalogue of models with order numbers and dimensional indications published by the Strasbourg manufacturer and stucco artist Jacques-Joseph Heiligenthal (1786-1870) who succeeded Beunat in 1824. The plasterwork includes panels, door tops, glass tops, friezes, pilasters, jambs, rosettes, entablatures, mouldings, modillions, etc. in the neo-classical and Empire styles.
