MIDDLE In polychrome lacquered maple on a white background, chased and gilded bronze ornamentation punched with a crowned C, the interior in satin veneer and violet wood, decorated with flowering branches and birds, of butterflies and a sinuous landscape of pierced rocks and pagodas, the flap sheathed on the reverse with leather gilded with small irons, the interior composed of six drawers, four lockers and a secret compartment, the belt opening through four drawers, the feet arched, stamped three times M.MIGEON; important restorations with painted
