Écu de France crowned with two croissants. Workshop letter at the tip of the shield. Initial sun and vintage at the end of the legend.
R/. Cross with arms ending in a lily and flanked by two H and two crescents. Initial croisette. C of the obverse and reverse legends are decorated with a rose = Claude Rouget.
Gold shield with croissants (6 February 1552) struck in Paris at the Moulin des Étuves in 1552. (3,31 g)
