An important PAIR OF CANDELABRES by BARBEDIENNE in chased ormolu with eight light arms, topped by a spinning top supported by four brackets decorated with acanthus leaves and small balls in relief, the bobbins decorated with foliage surmounted by a circular garland. The shaft decorated with motifs of foliage scrolls, acanthus leaves and bunches of flowers inscribed in vases has two stylised handles. The circular base is decorated with foliage.
