An Italian Renaissance cabinet, 17th/19th century
The Renaissance cabinet with a rectangular, ebonised softwood carcass and nine small drawers. The gilt bronze fittings representing winged angels' heads and two fully sculptured putti carrying an urn. A plaque featuring Venus and Cupid on the central drawer. The carcass probably altered slightly during the 19th century. Dimensions 57 x 42 x 23 cm.
