France. Officer's sword of the gendarmes of the King's House. (1814-1815).
Gilded brass frame with a facetted design. The pommel is made of a helmet, the guard plate is made of a lyre. Decorated with the arms of France between bundles of flags. Silver and copper filigree handle. Hollowed blade (traces of gilded motifs). Scabbard with two gilded brass trimmings. (Leather redone). T.B.E.
