Oakwood corpus, black lacquered and decorated on the front with sawn and engraved brass panels over a backed tortoise shell background, in ormolu cartouches in the shape of satyr mascarons and vegetable ornamentation. Legs curved in Ormolu lion paw sabots. The central frontal picture field in boulle technique, spanning the two drawers sans traverse. The profiled marble top plate following the trains in white veined black marble, slightly trapezoidal at the sides with square ormolu cartouche and central cast, chased mascaron. The construction and form of the chest of drawers is based on the work of André Charles Boulle (1642-1732). Minimal rest. (1240877) (13)
