1563. AUTOGRAPH: (ROYAL SIGNATURE). FELIPE II: LICENSE TO SELL CENSUS DIRECTED BY THE KING TO HIS CORREGIDOR IN SALAMANCA. Handwritten page with the heading 'The King'. Signed by Philip II and his secretary of office, Don Francisco de Erasso. Madrid, 3rd April 1563. License to sell censuses directed by the King to his Corregidor in Salamanca. Very fine calligraphy with the holographic signature of the King at the end of the text, as well as a handwritten note and endorsement with the signature of the Secretary of the Office, Francisco de Erasso (1507-1570), who had been his father's secretary, Carlos I and main Minister of State during the time he held the post.
