An enamel spindle pocket watch with quarter-hour repetition Paris, Jean Antoine Lepine (Paris, 1720 - 1814), around 1800, red gold, the watch lid in the centre with an antique depiction of a goddess in enamel painting, framed by an applied wreath, set with diamonds, on blue enamelled ground, the bezel set with diamonds, white enamel dial with roman hour and arabic minute numerals, dam. L'Epine, a Paris'', diamonds set between the hours, gold-coloured hands, the movement engraved ''L'epine a Paris'', with quarter-hour strike on bell, total weight ca. 66,5 g, d: ca. 4 cm.
