The ebauche was sold for the sum of 147 marks to the "Deutsche Seewarte Hamburg, Zweigstelle Gesundbrunnen" (Naval Observatory in Hamburg, branch office Gesundbrunnen) on 07/12/1944 - with a Lange extract from the archives and a copy of the Lange & Soehne records Case: silver/silvered, military engraving: swastika "M 13243".
