A George III Irish provincial silver coffee pot, by Carden Terry, Cork circa 1785, tapering circular form, wooden scroll handle, domed hinged cover with an elongated finial, the spout with a replacement mythical bird head end, on a circular foot, engraved with an armorial within foliate scroll mantling, height 24.5cm, approx. weight 27.8oz. The armorial is that of Warren impaling another.
