A George III travelling silver and shagreen inkwell and pen, probably by Joseph Taylor, circa 1785, oval cylindrical form, with an oval initialled cartouche, the pull-off cover opens to reveal the inkwell with a cover and a pull-out pen, height closed 5.8cm. Provenance: A Private Collection. purchased from Gerald Sattin Ltd. 8 January 1981.
