Description
A silver travelling artist's paint box, by J. C. Vickery, London 1913, cylindrical form, the hinged cover opens to reveal nine compartments for watercolours and a compartment with a brush, the end with a pull-off cover with a stopper for water, with a ring attachment, length 10.5cm, approx. weight 1.1oz. Provenance: A Private Collection. Purchased from Brook House Antiques, Lancaster, 10 February 1990.
