An Edwardian silver travelling artist's paint box, by William Hornby, London 1907, rectangular form, the hinged cover opens to reveal seven compartments for watercolours and a compartment for a brush, the end of the underside with a hinged finger ring attachment, length 9cm, approx. weight 1.7oz. Provenance: A Private Collection. Purchased from Hancocks, Burlington Arcade, London 10 June 1998.
