In blackened wood, opening with two glass doors, decorated with brass marquetry on a tortoiseshell background representing griffins and female masks in mantling, Hercules terracing the Hydra of Lerna in the centre of each panel, blackened wood sides decorated with brass fillets in three panels framed with geometrical gilded bronze friezes, it opens onto three shelves, the interior painted black.
