Made of red lacquered wood and varnished in imitation of speckled mahogany and blackened wood simulating a marquetry of foliage, locks and decorative elements in gilded metal, it opens with two glass panels decorated with a white veil.
Interior entirely covered in black velvet imitating the appearance of leather,

In red tortoiseshell lacquer, ormolu ornamentation, opening with two glass panels revealing two black velvet lined, mirror-bottomed shelving units, the panels framed with imitation ivory net and decorated with ivory grooves at the rounded corners.
