An important set of this magazine describing Consulate and Empire fashion, illustrated with finely coloured engravings.The magazine, one of the first illustrated French fashion magazines, appeared continuously from 1798 to 1829.Pleasant copy in cardboard (two models) with strong freckles on the text leaves, the engravings very fresh. Rubbed bindings, some spines damaged (lack of paper on title and tomaison parts)Correction: This is the German forgery of the French edition published 15 months earlier in Paris .
