Scarce 72-Bore Tibetan Matchlock Rifle Me-DaScarce 72-Bore Tibetan Matchlock Rifle Me-Da, heavy barrel cut with deep 6-groove rifling, octagonal section breech and slightly swollen muzzle each stamped and brass inlaid with geometric decoration, open rearsight, later brass pan and swivel cover, no provision for match holder and consequently probably intended for hand ignition, full stock of traditional form, small hinged box lid under stock intended for ammunition, iron ramrod, complete with its folding wooden bipod rest. Barrel 105cms, overall 150cms. Quite good condition, stock cracked and with repair, one bipod leg cracked and detached.
