Taxidermy: A Red Kite by Cullingford late 19th century signed on branch 69cm high by 46cm wide This Red Kite was preserved by the north-east based taxidermist Cullingford in the last decade of the 19th century. It is in his typical style with a bare interior to the case and is another specimen that is featured in Chris Frost’s ground-breaking book A History of British Taxidermy (1987).
