Alphonse Bernoud (1820-1889)
The Count of Trapani surrounded by his gentlemen Campania, September 1859 Albumen print, 191x253 mm, long notice by the artist, ink, verso, with a date : “le 9 septembre 1859”, two small pinholes, Bernoud's “Naples” dry stamp on mount. Francesco di Borbone-Due Sicilie, Count of Trapani, was the uncle of King Francesco II, last ruler of Naples.
