Trotsky comments on the Moscow trials, Mexico, 10 April 1937 Vintage American press print, 213x168 mm, mimeographed caption with a curious incorrect date “4-10-1937” becoming “3-10-1937”. The American philosopher John Dewey led a delegation to Mexico to interview Trotsky and hold hearings from April 10 to April 17, 1937. The hearings were conducted to investigate the allegations against Trotsky who publicly stated in advance of them that if he was found guilty as charged he would hand himself over to the Soviet authorities.
