Manner of BROUWER, Adriaen The card-players. 19th c Drawing, pen and black ink, sepia wash, with varnish, 25,5 x 35,2 cm, laid paper?, unsigned (large crack of ca. 7 cm in paper with sm. loss, heavily varnished, several repaired tears on verso). Three men playing a game of cards at the table in an inn. A variation on a composition by Adriaen Brouwer, now in the collection of the Alte Pinakothek Munich (inv. 2108).
