An elephant shaped stool made entirely of leather. Designer Dimitri Omersa and produced for "Abercrombie and Fitch" in the UK around 1960. Marked. Rare and very decorative piece. Good condition with its original patina. H 50 cm x 70 x 39 cm Dimitri Omersa was born in Yugoslavia, where he was a first officer in the Navy. After several years of captivity, he emigrated to Great Britain in the 1950s, where he started working in a leather goods factory, which he took over when the CEO retired.
