L 190 X 60 X 27 cm Artists specialized in wall sculpture and decorative metal objects, Curtis FREILER and Jerry FELS are known under the contraction of their two names : CURTIS JERE. While FREILER is head of production and FELS responsible for design, they founded the Artisan House corporation in 1963, which will publish their creations until 1972. These were then distributed by Raymor, a leading New York studio, and retailed at Gump in San Francisco. Wishing to develop a "quality art gallery for the masses", CURTIS JERE elaborated numerous decorative panels and sculptures that could go from abstraction to the most meticulous figuration.
