Large seated male figure In a stoic attitude, his legs brought back towards his chest, he puts his arms on his knees. He wears a headband and a nose ring and a headband cap. Beautiful body paintings are visible on his right flank and underline his gaze. The shape of his triangular face, his attributes and the slender form of his body, allow this sculpture to be classified as a Type C Chinesco. Its size and the quality of its decoration make it a fine example of West Coast Mexican sculpture. Brown terracotta with red, black and cream slip. Important traces of manganese oxides. Ox-eye moulding 1st half of the 20th century, frame made of approx. 7 cm wide, rising profiled wooden moulding with narrow pearl bar as well as egg bar, stuccoed and gilded, cut mitre joints, bumps, folded dimensions approx. 56 x 48 cm.

Florentine frame 2nd half of the 19th century, approx. 17 cm wide carved and stuccoed frame with fine foliate gilding, decorated with scrolled foliage and a surrounding laurel band, inserted, likewise gilded inner moulding, reinforced mitres on the reverse, one old repair spot and somewhat in need of restoration, folded dimensions 78 x 68 cm.

Florentine frame 19th century, magnificent frame made of ca. 11,5 cm wide gilded wooden moulding carved with strongly sculptured tendrils of acanthus leaves, mitres worked across the corner, traces of age, folded dimensions ca. 64 x 42 cm.

Gold stucco moulding 1st half of the 20th century, frame made of 5 cm wide, outwardly rising profiled, stuccoed and gold-bronzed wooden moulding, cut mitres, minimal signs of age, folded dimensions approx. 40 x 51 cm.
